Echelon Custom Homes will process all of the necessary permit requests for you.

Currently, the permit requirements for single family homes in Sussex County, Delaware are:

• Septic Approval (if applicable)
  From: DNREC (Division of Water Resources)
  
• Well Permit (If the property is in a Well District)
  From: DNREC (Division of Water Resources)
  
• Proof of Transfer Tax Payment (If property has been owned for less than one year)
  From: State Division of Revenue
  
• Water and Sewer impact fees (If applicable)
  
• Your property may require other special permits

The permit fee will be based on a pre-determined formula that calculates the Dimensions of the Structures and the types of Material being used in the construction.

After receiving all the necessary approvals from the above agencies you may obtain your Building Permit from the Sussex County Board of Assessment.
