How long will it take my house to be built?
The timeline for any home depends upon weather conditions, square footage and the intricacies of custom components.
Your project manager will set a build schedule with realistic timelines. This information will determine the length of time needed to complete your home.
Can I make changes once the house begins?
Yes, of course. Any changes will be handled utilizing a Change Order form. This form documents the requested change along with associated fees and any time delays. At Echelon, we provide transparent pricing to our clients. This enables you to have solid information on which to base your decisions on.
How do I arrange financing for new construction?
Most lending institutions offer construction loans that will provide funding during construction. The funding is broken up into a payment schedule (also known as a draw schedule). At the end of each stage of construction, Echelon contacts your bank and request a draw. After the Certificate of Completion is received, your construction loan is converted into a traditional mortgage.
